As if the transit strike wasn't enough to contend with one soggy pedestrian watches his umbrella disintegrate around him - and he was darn lucky to dodge the oncoming cyclist as he battled the elements today near the Bloor St.-Avenue Rd. intersection. However; knowing how Metro motorists react to rain; he can take perverse delight in thinking about tie-ups.
