Original Toronto Star caption: Long wait for funds; Some of the 4;000 people waiting for their family benefit cheques stand in line yesterday outside a government office on Parliament St. The cheques were not mailed as usual because the government feared they would be caught in the current postal dispute; but many of those in line had to wait three hours for their funds.
