The girl; found abandoned as a baby in a village near Dacca; is believed to be between 11 and 14. She was a friend of Tangela; a Bangladesh orphan adopted earlier by the Hughese who was in the same orphange and spoke often of Tepi with the sore eyes. The family also has four sons and another adopted daughter is due soon.
