Original Toronto Star caption: Snowmobilers race to help research: Cold and snow didn't keep 40 snowmobile drivers from competing in races yesterday in Richmond Hill to raise money for cystic fibrosis research. They paid entry fees of $2 to $3 to roar around an oval track in a field at Yonge St. and Elgin Mills in a bid for trophies. The Richmond Hill Kinsmen Club; which staged the meet; also sold refreshments to bolster the money raised. About 200 spectators turned out; well bundled up; but no admission fees were charged.
