Original Toronto Star caption: It was Bedlam at Nathan Phillips Square yesterday when the Bay City Rollers appeared, sending thousands of teenage girls into ecstasy. Police joked with the crowd, estimated at 65,000, and handed out cold towels, but they couldn't control the girls when the Rollers made two brief appearances. A scheduled presentation of platinum records was made later at private party.
