Original Toronto Star caption: Gifts and offerings of flowers; underclothes and bananas are thrown on stage as teenyboppers scream their approval of their idols. I can't bear it; said one girl. They're just so cute I have to get my hands on them. She had been hauled out of crowd once in a near-faint. But no sooner had she regained her breath; she forced her way back into melee. The concert had to be stopped twice because of the crush at front of stage.
