Original Toronto Star caption: Montreal artist and designer John Street's large; casually designed works on paper are the opening show at the new Loranger Gallery on Bloor St. W. And that's a mistake; according to reviewer Gary Dault. He says Street's rather ramshackle drawings are too undisciplined and conceptually limp for a proper gallery launching. The pictures are fun; Dault reports - but you can't run an art gallery on fun.
