Original Toronto Star caption: This air view presents a panorama of the 1;500;000 h.p. Shipshaw power project; one of the biggest hydro-electric developments in the world. In the middle of the picture is a one-and-a-half-mile canal dug mostly through solid rock. The cement poured would make a sidewalk 2;270 miles in length.
