Original Toronto Star caption: Students initiate R.C.A.F. chefs into culinary art. Women are already teaching R.C.A.F. the fine art of turning out tasty food in the Macdonald institute; here; and some of them hope they will be asked to stay on. It was announced the 119 fourth-year students would graduate in May as planned back in 1937. A number of the male students are either in the army or expecting to be called up in the near future. Some of them already have their commissions. Among the students at present enrolled is Ralph Banting; nephew of the famed scientist who was killed in an airplane crash at Newfoundland. [Incomplete]
