Original Toronto Star caption: The 115-year-old Brice [sic] Street School in Milton; the oldest building in use as a symbol in Halton County; falls to the wrecker's hammer making way for a $500;000 library. The old bell and belfry; along with about 18 tons of stone from the school; are to be incorporated into the library; but there's a hitch: The 250-pound bell is missing. Mayor Brian Best hopes whoever mislaid the bell will return it.
