Original Toronto Star caption: Fire Guts Terra cotta inn. Firemen battle balze that destroyed the Terra Cotta Inn, well-known restaurant, 10 miles northwest of Brampton, early this morning. Damage to the 19th century house, which had been recently redecorated and refurnished, was estimated at $400,000. Four persons had to crawl through smoke to escape burning landmark.
