Highlighting the enterprise; and; for many; the focal point; was the new Henry Moore Sculpture Centre containing the largest collection of his work in the world; about $15 million in value. Moore attended the ceremony. The gallery reopened after a one-year shutdown during which its floor space was expanded 500 per cent; and can allow 25 per cent of its permanent collection to be shown at one time. Previously; only 5 per cent could be displayed.
