Original Toronto Star caption: Where Toronto's early pioneers Lie buried. In the epitaphs on the tombstones of St. James Cemetery can be read a great deal of the city's early history. But many of the plots have been forgotten and the cemetery authorities are bringing the matter to the attention of the descendants of those who lie buried there. The photos above are typical views of the historic old burial ground.
