Original Toronto Star caption: Historic St. George?s Church Was once in Residential District; The Church of St. George the Martyr; which was erected eighty years ago to serve the needs of Toronto's residential district. With the passing years; the city has encroached upon it; and to-day it is looked upon as a down-town church. To-morrow the eightieth anniversary of the church will be celebrated; and a special appeal has been made to old parishioners to attend.
