Original Toronto Star caption: Site for customs house. Premises formerly occupied by W. R. Broek and Co.; at the southwest corner of Bay and Wellington streets; were inspected by government officials last week; presumably with regard to the suitability of the site for a new Customs warehouse. A report has been made concerning the site by Collector Bertram of the Customs Department. While no definite information is forthcoming; it is believed this report was favorable. The lease on the customs premises at 54 Wellington atreat west; expires on April 1.
