Original Toronto Star caption: Old landmark passes. Above is a photograph of 118-124 Duke St.; a well-known downtown landmark; formerly owned by the Davidson Contracting Co.; which has been purchased by the Litho Press Co. Ltd.; of which W. B. Hanna is president. A modern factory building will be erected on the site. The lot is 91 by 196 feet; and the old structure will be torn down at once. Gibson Bros.; realtors; negotiated the sale. The price is not disclosed.
