Original Toronto Star caption: Ontario Housing Corp. Ltd. will ask the North York Planning Board today for permision to build a socially integrated; public housing project beside York Unversity. It will feature a 900-foot pedestrian mall; a five-acre wood and a minimal number of streets. When completed; the project will contain 579 public housing units; 200 units for elderly persons; 606 privately-owned units and a central core containing two churches; a community centre; small shops; high-rise apartments and junior and public schools.
