Original Toronto Star caption: Toronto gets a new old trading post. C. H. Matthews; design chief for the Toronto Historical Board; arranges furs on the counter of the trading post set up by the board at the Marine Museum of Upper Canada. The post opens today and features examples of trapping methods; canoes used by early explorers and maps showing trade routes followed for hundreds of years. The post is also stocked with type of rations and supplies settlers might have used. The museum is on the CNE ground; opens 9.30 a.m.
