Metro area motorists left work early; took public transit or found alternate routes but that didn't stop clogged roads in the second day of the closing of the Gardiner expressway's westbound lanes. And even these eastbound drivers on the Queen Elizabeth Way got their lumps heading into the city. Construction halted traffic at Highway 10.
