Original Toronto Star caption: A traffic-stopper. It's just one of those situations made to harrass the poor beleagured motorist. The Lakeshore westbound has to bear the brunt of traffic congestion as the Gardiner Expressway sits there - empty. The bumper-to-bumper traffic on the Lakeshore is the result of westbound Gardiner and northbound Parkway being closed to allow workmen to paint lane lines. But be warned - today the southbound Parkway and eastbound Gardiner are closed.
