Original Toronto Star caption: Important link: On March 24; passengers will begin riding on a new rapid transit line that links Scarborough City Centre with the Bloor-Danforth subway system. Designed and built by the Urban Transporation Development Corp.; an Ontario Crown company; the 7.2-kilometre (4.3-mile) system is seen as a key to future development in Scarborough's downtown core.
