In his rosedale home, builder Hugh Conover stands before a collection of primitive masks from native Indian, Mexican and African sources. The antique door is one he bought from wreckers and installed in duplex the family bought.

Ordering wreckers away yesterday fromhis expropriated home (in background), Jack Coltman, 60, argues with William Wasylyk (left), the owner of Lakeview Salvage Co., and Constable John Buchanan. Coltman says he has received no settlement yet for his expropriated property on Balfour Ave. and believes under this condition he can claim new rights under recent provincial expropriation legislation. His home was one of nine expropriated for new seperate school.
