Original Toronto Star caption: Here where Indian tribes worshipped in awe amid the roar of mighty waters; where the fabled maid of the mist still lurks; according to legend-lore; King George and Queen Elizabeth stood to admire the thundering majesty of Niagara; the rulers of an empire facing one of its most notable wonders. From Table Rock the sovereigns viewed the cataract sweeping over the brink of the chasm to explode in while spray far below. By a stroke of luck Jack Williams; St. Catharines photographer; had a position only a few feet away from the sovereigns and secured the interesting pictures above. He was one of two cameramen who managed to slip through police lines guarding the site; while more than 100 yards away a score of frantic colleagues stood and watched enviously; their cameras useless at the distance. Like a million other tourists have done; the King and Queen pointed out to each other; scenes which attracted their interest.
