Behind him is a second-place finisher Patrick Depailler of France. Hunt is driving McLaren while Depailler is in a six-wheeled Tyrell. A fuel leak late in the race burned the French driver's shoulder raw and filled his helmet with fumes causing him to pass out at finish line.
