Original Toronto Star caption: If at first you miss . . . Try again. Steve Sayers of East York puts everything into swing, including his tongue, but misses during yesterday's action at the Canadian National Exhibtion in the Toronto Star-CNE Peewee Baseball Tournament. But Steve kept right on trying and he connected on the next pitch. He really tried on this one as his hard hat flies off. The East york team edged Scarborough Village, 6-4. Also in yesterday's action, Rexdale upset the favored North York by a 904 score to eliminate the tournament's defending champions. For complete details on tournament, see Peter Krivel's story, C2.
