Crowds of noon-hour passers-by yesterday scrambled around publisher Jack McClelland at the corner of Bay and Bloor Sts., pushing and shoving to grab up some of the 1,000 McClelland and Stewart paperbacks he was giving away to launch his company's three-for-the-price-of-two sale. The sale continues to March 8.
