Original Toronto Star caption: Saves gasoline for war by getting out 1910 driving buggy. For the first time in many years, Col. R. S. McLaughlin, president of General Motors of Canada, arrives at his Oshawa office without the aid of gasoline. To save fuel for the war Col. McLaughlin has dusted off a high-wheel, drop axle McLaughlin gentleman's light driving wagon-the type his father made before going into the automobile business. The carriage, built in 1910, still has its original tires.
