Original Toronto Star caption: Undeterred by warnings from the Ontario health ministry, hundreds of fishermen swarmed the banks and bridges on the Credit River during the weekend, seeking coho salmon. Officials had warned that eating coho from the Great Lakes can be a health hazard. There were few strikes from this bridge near Streetsville dam. Salmon were planted by Ontario and New York to revive fishing in Lake Ontario.
