Original Toronto Star caption: Waves up to 14 feet high flipped over small boats in Lake Ontario at the mouth of the Credit River; and seven salmon fishermen were rescued yesterday; some after clinging to their overturned crafts for half an hour. A high swell overturned one boat; throwing the two occupants overboard and knocking it into another; which also tipped. A launch from the Texaco refinery rescued two of the four fishermen. Peel Regional Police had advised boaters not to go out on the lake.
