Original Toronto Star caption: Kite-Glider Daniel Genge; 27; is rescued from Lake Ontario yesterday after his kite collapsed in heavy winds and he fell 450 feet into the lake off the Canadian National Exhibition. More than 4;000 people saw him fall; during the aquarama. Genge is a Canadian hang-gliding champion and a member of the Canadian hang-gliding team. He is in satisfactory condition in St. Joseph's Hospital. His crash helmet flew off before he hit the water.
