Original Toronto Star caption: There he goes! Dar Robinson, the California stuntman, flails his arms and legs as he leaps from the 1,100-foot observation level of the CN Tower, with his life depending only on a wire tether. A crowd of about 250 got this view, right, of Robinson just after he started his leap. A ratchet device slowed his descent and stopped him about 300 feet from the ground.
