Original Toronto Star caption: The big plunge. Hanging by a thread of cable, stuntman Dar Robinson launches himself from the 1,100-foot level of the CN Tower last Tuesday, a day after he'd originally planned to take the leap. The death-defying jump, Robinson's second from the tower, brought traffic to a standstill in the downtown area as motorists stopped to watch the Hollywood stuntman, who put on the performance for a U.S. television program. Last September, he jumped with a parachute for a movie sequence and is reported to have been paid $250,000 for the feat.
