Original Toronto Star caption: Worst air disaster in Canada s history was the crash in October. 1943; of an R.A.C.F. Liberator with 24 airmen aboard. For years the plane lay hidden in dense underbrush on a mountain near St. Donat; Que. Clue to discovery of the wreck was this tail assembly which reflected the sun s rays was sighted by a plane.
