While a girl piper a lament; family and friends mourn at graveside of Winnifred Ann Bickle yesterday near Highway 12; just north of Whitby. She died at age of 55 in a fire in her three-room frame house at Port Perry on Tuesday. She had spent most of her 38 married years surrounded by her 17 children. All but one attended the funeral. Mrs. Bickle was partially crippled by Parkinson s disease; and her husband; Richard; 60; seldom left her alone. He was gone about 30 minutes on a delivery and returned to find house filled with smoke. He tried four times to rescue her.
