Original Toronto Star caption: Fire levels Nobleton golf clubhouse. Firefighters probe the burned-out debris of the clubhouse at the Nobleton Lakes Golf and Country Club after a fire yesterday destroyed the five-year-old building on Highway 27; four kilometres (2.5 miles) north of Nobleton. Fire Chief Ross Kennedy estimates the damage at $1 million. No one was injured in the early-morning blaze; which was battled by 30 firefighters.
