Original Toronto Star caption: Wrecking yard catches fire. Firemen turn their nozzles on a 30-metre (100-foot) pile of tires that caught fire yesterday and sent up a large plume of black smoke. The fire started at an auto wreckers yard north of Queen St. in Etobicoke. No one was injured in the blaze. Traffic was tied up along the Queensway and Highway 427.
