Original Toronto Star caption: The crushed wreck of a burned-out car and an Ontario Northland bus were among the scores of vehicles involved in Canada's worst-ever road disaster; last night on Highway 400. The bus driver; Victor Heath; 51; of Kappele Ave. was wedged in his seat; despite the danger of an explosion; 25-year-old Susan Stephens; a nurse at Toronto General Hospital; went aboard the bus to help ease Heath out. For half an hour; she gave the only medical assistance at the scene.
