Original Toronto Star caption: 15 hurt as train cars derailed in Weston. Rescuers remove Linda Strain; 19; of Sudbury; from one of three train cars derailed last night in Weston. Miss Strain's abdomen was pierced by a fence post and the ends of the post had to be sawed away before she could be moved. She was taken to hospital; where she's in satisfactory condition; with part of the pipe still in her midsection. The broken centre window is where the post entered. Fourteen other persons were injured in derailment.
