Original Toronto Star caption: Seats tore loose from metal bases when four coaches of CNR's Toronto-to-Barrie commuter train were derailed at 31 m.p.h. and smashed into refrigerator car on a siding yesterday near Davenport and Caledonia Park Rds. Many of 31 hurt blamed seats for injuries. I don't think as many people would have been hurt if those seats would have stayed on;' according to Harvey Sullivan of King City.
