Original Toronto Star caption: Thirty-two people were hurt when two TTC streetcars collided during the rushhour last evening at the intersection of Queen St. E. and Broadview Ave. after track-switch apparently failed. Police cars and ambulances took the injured to three hospitals. Most suffered cuts and bruises; the two drivers and one passenger were kept in hospital. Damage to the two vehicles was estimated at $50;000.
