Original Toronto Star caption: Derailment closes Greenwood Ave.. Pieces of a bridge railing cover Greenwood Ave. after the derailment of a freight train early today. A faulty switch may have caused the train; which was carrying new cars and auto parts from a General Motors plant in Oshawa; to jump the tracks. Police ordered a section of Greenwood Ave. closed until engineers determine whether the bridge is structurally safe.
