Original Toronto Star caption: Tender; Loving Care from Carol Knibb of Air Canada is accepted as his due by Smitty; the stardom-bound duck from the Port Arthur waterfront; on his arrival at Malton yesterday. He was rescued; coated in ice; by workers of Provincial Paper mill who arranged for his flight south. Now Stan Simons (left) of the Department of Lands and Forests wants Smitty for their exhibit at the Sportsmen's Show.
