Original Toronto Star caption: On the path to Whiskey Smoke Cave are Dot O'Neil and Star boating editor Stan Davies. The cave is old and was used by Indians and moonshiners to distill whisky. This is the northern end of the trail; and if you're afraid of snakes it's not for you. In her trip along trail Dot came across three of them at this point.
