Original Toronto Star caption: Bulldozing for boaters - can spring be far behind?. The boating season seems far away but the people at the Metro Toronto and Region Conservation Authority have it in mind. Bulldozers are at work on Harbor Commission land at Ashbridge's Bay; clearing land for two new public boat launching ramps and restoring one old one. Ramps will be concrete; 35 feet wide and able to handle any size of boat that can be trailered; officials said. In the background is smoke from the Hearn Hydro stack and Ashbridge's Bay sewage plant.
