He dropped to third over-all on Sunday. His Polaris failed to start in the modified stock 340-cc race and he finished sixth in the open modified 250-cc class. Track is half-mile oval with straight sides. Grandstand along one side permits clear view of start and finish; but many drivers use opposite side.
