Original Toronto Star caption: Taking leave of summer: And what better way to say goodby to the warm weather than by painting the autumn scene in High Park? Nikolette Jakovac has been painting for 15 years and for the past three she's concentrated on painting park scenes as the seasons change. Yesterday; she had balmy Indian summer weather as she attached her canvas to a frame and used her bicycle as an easel while capturing the reds; yellows and browns of High Park in the fall.
