Original Toronto Star caption: Oh for the life for a sailor. Crewmen of the Coast Guard icebreaker Griffon grapple with a giant navigation buoy in Toronto Harbor in yesterday's snow and freezzing rain. Eleven of the buoys; some 20 feet hight and weighing five tons; were taken aboard by the ship's crane in six hours of labor on the icy deck and unloaded at the Island Airport for maintenance before next year's shipping season opens. The Griffon will work next in Lake Erie.
