Original Toronto Star caption: Seve soldiers injured in King St. subway crash. Two men were still in hospital today; and five others were in sick bay at Exhibition camp; as the result of an accident yesterday in the King St. subway near Atlantic Ave. As a detachment of 60 men of the Royal Regiment of Canada marched west under the subway; a car driven by Fred Hawthorne; Bathurst St.; was in collision with the column; bowling over a dozen men. Hawthorne was charged with dangerous driving.
