Original Toronto Star caption: With Hon. J.C. Elliott, postmaster general, officiating, Burlington's new post-office was opened before a large crowd, Saturday afternoon. Thomas A. Blakelock, M.P.P., Halton, addressed the gathering and said he hoped Oakville would have a new building soon. ABOVE is the new building. INSERT (LEFT) is Mr. Blakelock and (RIGHT) Frederick D. Ghent, Burlington postmaster.
