Original Toronto Star caption: Even Canada's wild ducks know a good thing when they find it; and several hundred winter annually along the Lakeshore and at Toronto Island. The Toronto Humane Society spends about $150 a week throughout the winter to provide birdseed for the ducks. It's been doing it for about seven years; but there still isn't enough money to feed them adequately; officials say. These fellows are presumably foraging for themselves in the lagoon.
